Mackenzie Salenger, counsel in the Firm’s Dallas office, was recently named to the 2020-2021 class of the Dallas Mayor’s Star Council, a prestigious leadership organization for culturally diverse and connected young professionals who are committed to creating a collective impact approach to moving the needle of progress. Mackenzie is one of 41 individuals to be selected to this year’s class.
Over 200 passionate alumni have gone through the program since its inaugural class in 2012. The organization provides tools to make a transformational change in the city by focusing on three pillars: learn, connect, and serve. The council hosts multiple events annually, including “Engage Dallas” which connects attendees with businesses, nonprofits, and city leaders to find a path to engage with the city based on their passions. Since its inaugural event in 2017, the summit has over 600 attendees.
Mackenzie is a strategic trial attorney who handles cases at all stages of litigation, from pre-suit investigations to post-judgment recovery. With a focus on commercial litigation and dispute resolution, Mackenzie supports clients on matters related to fraud and fraudulent transfer litigation, tort and product liability litigation, and complex commercial litigation. She is actively involved in the Dallas community and serves on numerous young professionals advisory councils including the LGBT Resource Center of Dallas and the Dallas Area Rape Crisis Center.
