Alma leverages her extensive practical public health and health care background to support clients with a variety of transactional and regulatory health care matters.
She assists clients through performing research and analysis of state health care regulations, physician employment agreements and non-compete laws, state self-referral prohibitions and anti-kickback provisions and the scope of practice and licensure for various health care professionals. She additionally assists with due diligence on matters related to mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to law school, Alma worked in public health and health care industries where she managed and directed large-scale programs and worked with stakeholders at all levels. Alma is a certified PMP® and holds a Masters in International Healthcare Management, Economics, and Policy from SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan, Italy.
