For Elisa, the thrill of walking the halls of Congress never grows old.
Elisa draws on her years of policy experience in congressional, corporate, legal, and nonprofit settings to assist Thompson Coburn's clients in all aspects of federal policymaking.
She supports the implementation of our clients' legislative agendas by monitoring the day-to-day actions of Congress. Elisa covers hearings, legislation, and appropriations processes to ensure client priorities are front and center for policymakers.
She is skilled at tracking legislation across dozens of congressional committees, identifying opportunities for clients, and arranging meetings for clients and relevant partners. When it comes to navigating wonky legislative processes, Elisa is right at home. She also helps manage the Firm's political action committee as well as the D.C. office's pro bono program.
Elisa's work spans a wide range of industries, from education to clean energy. She supports clients through all phases of federal engagement, from making initial contact on the Hill to achieving significant legislative victories. For example, Elisa has been a core part of Thompson Coburn's successful representation of clients across industries in securing policy riders and report language in successive appropriations bills.
Before joining Thompson Coburn, Elisa worked on the Hill for the chair of the House Intelligence Committee, where she wrote op-eds on behalf of the Representative, conducted research, and responded to constituent inquiries. She previously interned in the district office of another Representative.
