Beth supports health care clients in a variety of transactional and regulatory matters.
With an eye towards staying current on a wide range of health care laws and regulations pertaining to the practice of corporate medicine, Beth assists clients through research and analysis of state health care regulations, physician employment agreements and non-compete laws, state self-referral prohibitions and anti-kickback provisions, and the scope of practice and licensure for various health care professionals.
Beth assists with due diligence on transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, and drafting of various closing documents, including operating agreements, letters of intent and non-reliance letters.
Beth recently worked as a legal extern at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital where she notably presented research and insight towards the implementation of a Drug Overdose Prevention Program and the Standing Order requirements for the state of Illinois for the distribution of naloxone without a prescription.
