Essential in both law firms and businesses, compliance review and conflicts analysis is a central part of the firm. This mindset has led to Elizabeth, responsible for loss prevention, becoming a key figure in a number of legal and administrative areas.
Working with the loss prevention department, including the firm's general counsel and assistant general counsel, Elizabeth investigates potential and actual conflicts of interests in regards to both clients and firm employees. This function makes her vital to the new hire process as she quickly and efficiently examines client relationships. Additionally, Elizabeth reviews external marketing collateral to ensure adherence to the Rules of Professional Conduct across multiple jurisdictions.
Previously a trial lawyer, Elizabeth's experience with litigation, client counseling and the conflicts process has allowed her to become adept in navigating the myriad of regulations today's law firms are bound by.
