Jaime assists clients with a variety of corporate and securities matters and financings.
Jaime is well versed in researching time-sensitive matters and drafting appropriate memos and filings. He assists clients in a multitude of corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, SEC filings, corporate governance and general business counseling.
During law school, Jaime served as a judicial intern with Judge Yvonne T. Rodriguez of the Texas Eighth Court of Appeals in El Paso and completed an externship at the Iowa City City Attorney's Office, where he prosecuted simple misdemeanors in magistrate court. Jaime, who is Spanish-fluent in reading, writing and speaking, also served as a translator and volunteer with an Iowa State Bar Association program that matches clients with civil legal issues with volunteer attorneys.
