With over 35 years of experience in the agrifinance sector, John serves as a valuable asset to financial institutions in a variety of financing transactions.
As a member of Thompson Coburn's dedicated loan review team, John assures the accuracy and completeness of loan relationships in excess of $12.5 million or that are otherwise deemed to be complex. He also maintains a library of legal documents for 48 states.
John is the former general counsel of Rabo AgriFinance and deputy general counsel of Rabobank U.A. North America, where for nearly three decades he managed all in-house legal operations for the $15 billion agricultural lender and third party loan originator/servicer. He led the legal review of specialized agricultural finance packages ranging from $100,000 loans to complex syndicated transactions, and responded to issues involving corporate governance, transactional document automation, HR, litigation, and collections.
