Josh assists clients with an array of transactional matters pertaining, but not limited to, real estate, public finance, acquisition and sales, construction and development, tax credits, credit facilities and transactions financed with New Market Tax Credits.
Real Estate attorneys look to Josh to provide review and analysis of ALTA surveys, title commitments, proformas, exception documents and matters related to the zoning of property. His adept organizational skills have led him to be called upon to draft and manage the disbursement of closing documentation, in addition to assisting with a variety of closing and post-closing matters in a timely manner. Josh devotes a keen eye to the examination of real estate legal descriptions, plats and surveys and is proficient in plotting and mapping descriptions to show discrepancies.
Corporate and Tax credits attorneys have tasked Josh with the drafting and filing of new entity organizational documentation, including articles and employer identification numbers. He is also skilled with gathering due diligence related items such as certified articles, annual reports and certificates of good standing. Josh prepares UCC financing statements, amendments, continuations and terminations for filing in various jurisdictions. He also oversees and analyzes lien searches, including judgments, tax liens, litigation, bankruptcy and UCC filings, with special care directed at securing results expeditiously.
