Malini is a member of the firm's product liability and business litigation practices.
Since joining Thompson Coburn, Malini has assisted in matters involving product liability and personal injury, contractual claims, including under the False Claims Act, and compliance issues. In her career, she has handled all aspects of litigation touching on many areas of law, including tax assessments, construction, and minority shareholder rights. Prior to joining private practice, Malini served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Special Litigation Bureau of the Office of the Illinois Attorney General, where she litigated and investigated qui tam matters filed under the False Claims Act as well as cases alleging environmental violations, consumer fraud, and constitutional challenges to state statutes.
Malini currently serves as a board member for the Migrant and Immigrant Community Action (MICA) Project, a non-profit that provides direct legal representation to immigrants in the St. Louis area.
