Matt assists clients in intellectual property matters, including patent, trademark, and copyright disputes. He performs legal research, drafts pleadings and other documents, and helps with case management.
Matt earned his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Missouri-Columbia. While pursuing his undergraduate degree in biology, Matt worked in a lab studying cancer immunotherapy. In law school, he was a lead articles editor for the law review and spent some time studying the regulation of drugs and medical devices as a research assistant.
After graduating from law school, Matt clerked for Judge Paul C. Wilson of the Supreme Court of Missouri.
