Michael counsels clients on transportation matters, drawing on his previous experience at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and as an Honors Attorney at the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT).
While at the FAA, Michael worked on issues pertaining to aviation safety, airports, air traffic, unmanned aircraft systems, and commercial space. Michael also counseled FAA witnesses testifying before Congress and drafted testimony for congressional hearings.
As an Honors Attorney at the USDOT, Michael also completed rotations with the Office of Aviation Enforcement and Proceedings, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), and the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA). In these capacities, he provided legal advice to high-level officials on contracts, employment law, enforcement, litigation risk, fiscal law and appropriations, and constitutional law issues and drafted policy papers, regulations, and final agency decisions.
