Sam assists clients with a wide range of Intellectual Property matters, including patent, trademark, and copyright disputes.
Sam leads legal research, drafts pleadings and other documents, and helps with case management of IP matters.
During law school, Sam served a trademark enforcement intern with the University of Iowa Trademark and Licensing Office, where he researched cases of trademark infringement, composed and sent cease and desist letters to infringers and carried out content removals of infringing materials on social media. While pursuing an undergraduate degree in biochemistry and molecular biology, Sam worked in a chemistry lab studying the effects of alcohol and sulfur compounds on the liver, and helped present and publish on the study's findings.
