Sam Brand focuses on lender-side and borrower-side finance deals while also handling a variety of banking and finance matters. His experience includes facilitating credit transactions, providing guidance on consumer and student lending regulatory issues, facilitating mortgage repurchase facilities, and working with equipment financing. Sam can also provide assistance on Category 1, 2, and 3 matters.

This experience enables him to assist clients with complex financial transactions and regulatory compliance. Recently Sam participated in a secondment with the Missouri Higher Loan Authority of the state of Missouri, where he provided advice on navigating student lending regulations.

Sam’s law school experience included internships with the Honorable Judge Patricia Breckenridge of the Missouri Supreme Court and the Honorable Judge Daniel C. Moreno of the Hennepin County Courthouse Fourth Judicial District. Additionally, he interned with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources General Counsel’s Office, conducting research and drafting proposed internal policies and Missouri State Park regulations.
