Susan manages the administrative and operational functions across Thompson Coburn's five offices, drawing on her diverse background in law firm management to ensure our offices operate with efficiency, value, and the highest level of client service.

Taking an interdisciplinary approach to operational support processes, she understands the importance of working together to develop and implement practices which drive the firm to perform at a higher level.

Susan oversees management of the secretarial services function firmwide in collaboration with other departments and the local Office Administrators, who she supports and supervises. Working with Human Resources, Information Technology, Finance, Marketing, Business Development, Recruiting, Loss Prevention, Library Services, Office Administrators and a strong Operations and Records staff, she also oversees the Firm's leases, facilities, furnishings, office services, purchasing and records; manages vendor relationships; supervises construction projects, maintenance, commercial insurance, and office moves; and leads safety, security and sustainability efforts. Her team is dedicated to providing highly effective operational services that allow our attorneys and staff to focus on our clients.

Susan is a passionate and practical yet creative problem solver focused on process improvement and efficiency. She is an active member of the Association of Legal Administrators, and a former officer and board member at the local level. She is also a Certified Legal Manager, a certification earned by less than 4% of ALA members nationwide. She is a graduate with Distinction from Stanford University.
