Yasmin Younis is a versatile legal professional, concentrating her practice in the areas of international trade, transportation, and regulatory. With a focus on international trade and regulatory compliance, she helps clients navigate the maze of federal laws and regulations affecting domestic and international transactions.

Her diverse background and international commercial legal experience make Yasmin a trusted legal advisor, adept at handling everything from import/export regulations and international sanctions to product classifications and due diligence. Yasmin is particularly skilled in emerging legal areas, such as the sanctions affecting Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine, and Section 301 tariffs on Chinese imports. Her practical, forward-thinking approach has not only protected her clients from legal risks but has also led to significant resource recovery.

In addition to her law degree, Yasmin has a master’s degree in International and Comparative Legal Studies from SOAS University of London, with a focus on International Commercial Law. While in London, she worked at the International Bar Association’s Legal Research and Policy Unit, gaining valuable experience in legal research and analysis on global issues.

Her passion for advocacy and commitment to diversity are evident from her time in law school at Saint Louis University, where she co-founded the Middle Eastern and North African Law Students Association. She was a 2020-21 recipient of Thompson Coburn’s Thomas F. Eagleton Scholarship.
