Zach is an associate in the Firm's tax credits practice.
Prior to joining Thompson Coburn, Zach was a private equity finance associate, focusing on debt, equity and structured financing transactions for private equity sponsors.
Zach also maintains a pro bono immigration practice, building on his experience as a legal assistant at the Immigrant Legal Advocacy Program in Portland, Maine and as a legal intern with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Geneva, Switzerland. In these roles, he helped write policies and drafted petitions to assist refugees and asylum seekers.
Zach earned his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and his B.A. in International Political Economy from Colorado College. While in law school, Zach served as the managing editor of the Michigan Journal of International Law.
