Gary advises on real estate, business transactional, and community association law. He also co-chairs the real estate practice group, leading the practice in Chicago.
Gary brings an extensive background in the areas of commercial real estate sales and acquisitions, development, debt and equity financing, including joint ventures, leasing and work-outs. He represents lenders and leasing companies in connection with both transactional and workout situations. He also represents sophisticated businesses and real estate entities. Gary is always aware of his clients' need for practical and timely advice. He takes a straightforward approach when handling complex transactions by quickly identifying critical issues and providing his clients with comprehensive business advice.
In addition, Gary has experience in the areas of commercial leasing, acquisitions, sales, condominium conversions, Section 1031 like-kind exchanges and financing as they relate to real estate development. Concentrating in all areas of real estate, he has represented clients regarding the structuring of transactions involving corporations, partnerships, limited partnerships and limited liability companies.
