Amber Gleeson focuses on complex legal issues related to toxic tort and asbestos claims, the railroad industry, and Federal Employers’ Liability Act claims.
Her experience includes insights gained from her time as a student attorney with the Federal Civil Rights Clinic at the University of Illinois. There, she gained valuable litigation experience representing incarcerated clients in 42 U.S.C. Section 1983 cases in all phases of litigation, culminating in two jury trials. She also served as an extern with the Missouri State Public Defender Office in Clayton, Missouri.
Before law school, Amber spent several years as a senior software engineer, including with Thomson Reuters, where she helped to develop WestlawNext. Her experience includes more than a decade working in software development, giving her unique training in technology.

I am an avid hiker and have hiked in Olympic National Park in Washington as well as Rocky Mountain National Park. I have also recently taken up running and signed up for my first 10K. When I’m not being active, I enjoy reading fantasy and mysteries.
