Andrew McKeon litigates disputes in state and federal courts across the country.  His practice focuses on high-stakes trade secret and unfair competition disputes, particularly those involving former contractors, licensees, and employees who misuse proprietary information to launch competing businesses.

Andrew is known for guiding clients through the entire lifecycle of trade secret risk. He advises companies on preventing disputes through enforceable agreements and practical information-security measures, responding quickly when misappropriation is suspected, and litigating aggressively when necessary. He recently resolved a multi-year trade secret litigation involving the formation of a competing enterprise, achieving a favorable outcome after extensive discovery, expert analysis, and motion practice.

Clients value Andrew’s ability to translate complex technical and contractual issues into clear strategies that align with business goals.  He has overseen trial strategy, examined fact and expert witnesses, prevailed on key dispositive motions, and has tried cases before juries and arbitrators. He also served on a three-lawyer appellate team that secured the first en banc hearing before the Texas Third Court of Appeals in more than two decades.
