Andrew Brown advises clients on a broad range of complex commercial and business disputes. He has developed a strong foundation in litigation through judicial externships, private practice experience, and hands-on work in both state and federal legal settings.
Prior to joining Thompson Coburn, Andrew served as a Summer Associate with the firm and gained valuable courtroom experience through judicial internships with the Honorable Sean D. Jordan and the Honorable Amos L. Mazzant III of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. An accomplished advocate in law school, Andrew competed in numerous moot court competitions nationwide, earning strong placements along the way.
Before pursuing a legal career, Andrew gained extensive client service and financial services experience as a Residential Loan Officer and Mortgage Professional, helping clients navigate complex mortgage transactions in competitive markets. Earlier in his career, he served as a Legislative Assistant in the Texas House of Representatives, where he supported policy research, constituent relations, and legislative initiatives.
Andrew earned his J.D., cum laude, from UNT Dallas College of Law and his bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin.

I enjoy relaxing with my significant other and our pets, as well as traveling to the beach with my family. My hobbies include spending time on the golf course, working out at the gym, and following the Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys.
