Anthony Whalen takes a proactive role in helping employers understand and comply with employment and labor laws across multiple industries. When disputes arise, Anthony diligently defends employer and management interests.
Anthony advises clients on compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws, helping prevent litigation through effective HR practices. He regularly counsels employers on human resources issues, including non competition agreements, handbook drafting, layoffs and restructurings, and wage and hour compliance.
Beyond client advising, Anthony frequently defends companies nationwide in employment litigation and discrimination charges, including matters before the EEOC, the Missouri Human Rights Commission, and other state and federal agencies. Anthony also represents management in traditional labor matters, including collective bargaining agreement negotiations, contract administration, and grievance arbitrations.
I am an avid soccer fan, often spending my free time following teams from across the globe and from my hometown in Kansas City. I also love to spend time with my wife, Heidi, and our two cats, Rice and Beans.
