Blaine Bonis supports clients in the defense of complex litigation matters, including product liability claims and mass tort disputes, through legal research, analysis, and case development.
His work includes conducting legal research and analysis on issues involving product defect allegations, failure-to-warn claims, regulatory compliance, causation, and litigation strategy. Blaine helps clients navigate high-stakes disputes while contributing to efficient case management and strategic defense planning.
Blaine earned his J.D. at Washington University School of Law, where he developed a strong foundation in civil litigation and legal advocacy. He served as the Chief Sources Editor on the Journal of Law and Policy and reached the national finals in the Giles Sutherland Rich Memorial Moot Court competition. He earned a B.S. from Tulane University, where he honed the analytical and problem-solving skills that continue to serve him in his legal practice while playing in the Tulane Marching Band drumline and Tulane Orchestra.
Before joining Thompson Coburn, Blaine served as a law clerk for Magistrate Judge Jane M. Virden in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi.
