Brittany Green represents employers in complex workplace disputes and advises on compliance, risk management, accommodations, leave issues, and employee discipline. Her practice focuses on helping employers navigate workplace policies and employment‑related disputes under federal and state law.

Brittany regularly counsels employers on issues involving leaves of absence and compliance with the ADA, FMLA, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the FLSA, the Illinois Human Rights Act, and related state and federal statutes. She has successfully defended employers in federal, state, and appellate courts, as well as before administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Illinois Department of Human Rights, and the Illinois Department of Labor.

An experienced litigator, Brittany handles matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, unfair competition, and wage‑and‑hour claims. She routinely manages all phases of litigation, including discovery, dispositive motions, class and collective actions, and agency charges, and regularly prepares cases for mediation and settlement.

Brittany also advises clients on best practices for workplace compliance, conducts employee and management trainings, and has authored employer‑focused articles and client alerts on topics including paid leave and employment tax developments. Before joining Thompson Coburn, Brittany practiced at a global labor and employment law firm. She previously served as a judicial extern with the Illinois Appellate Court, First District. Brittany earned her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she received multiple academic honors and held editorial and moot court roles.
