Cooper Binsky uses his practical approach to help employers solve their employee-related matters, and navigate the ever-changing legal environment.

Cooper has experience defending employers in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the New York State Division of Human Rights, and the New York City Commission on Human Rights. Cooper regularly handles claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and restrictive covenant matters.

In addition to his litigation practice, Cooper advises employers on day-to-day workplace issues, including employee discipline, internal investigations, and compliance with employment laws. He has experience drafting restrictive covenant agreements, employment agreements, separation agreements, and workplace policies, and has represented clients in mediations and arbitrations before organizations such as JAMS and the American Arbitration Association.

Before joining the firm, Cooper practiced at national and regional law firms focused on labor and employment law, where he developed a strong foundation in employment litigation and counseling.

Cooper earned his J.D., cum laude, from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, where he served as a Senior Associate Editor of the Hofstra Law Review and graduated in the top 9% of his class. He received his B.A. in History from Brooklyn College.
