CJ Holder focuses on helping financial institutions navigate secured lending transactions.
Before joining Thompson Coburn, CJ served as a Summer Associate with the firm, gaining hands-on experience in commercial finance transactions and corporate matters. He also worked as a Judicial Extern in the Circuit Court of Cook County at the Daley Center for Judge Kubasiak. Earlier in his career, CJ completed internships in financial services and compliance, building a strong foundation in risk management and regulatory frameworks.
CJ earned his J.D. from Notre Dame Law School, where he focused on business and commercial law and participated in programs emphasizing transactional practice. He holds a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, where he developed a strong foundation in financial analysis and corporate strategy.
