Danielle Pascale brings exceptional trial experience and courtroom advocacy to Thompson Coburn’s nationally recognized litigation team.

She represents institutions in high-stakes matters involving allegations of sexual assault, child sexual abuse, and other torts, providing strategic counsel informed by decades of experience handling complex investigations and litigation. Danielle guides clients through sensitive matters that demand careful legal analysis, sound judgment, and thoughtful risk management. Her experience enables her to support institutions including hospital and educational systems in their pursuit of justice for victims, helping them reach fair settlements.

Danielle has spent more than two decades investigating, litigating, and trying challenging cases. Before entering private practice, she served for 21 years as a child abuse and sex crimes prosecutor, building a distinguished record as a trial lawyer in some of the most complex matters in the criminal justice system. Through that work, she developed extensive experience evaluating allegations, managing sensitive investigations, and navigating matters involving multiple stakeholders. She later brought that experience to private practice, representing public and private institutions in high-exposure litigation involving claims of negligent hiring, negligent retention, negligent supervision, institutional liability, and allegations of sexual misconduct.

She previously served as Deputy Bureau Chief of the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Bureau in the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office, where she supervised child abuse prosecutions and led multidisciplinary investigations involving allegations of sexual and physical abuse. In that role, she collaborated with law enforcement, child protective services, medical professionals, and advocacy organizations on some of the most serious cases affecting children and families.  Her experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating complex investigations provides valuable insight when advising institutions facing significant legal and reputational risk.

Beyond her litigation practice, Danielle is a recognized educator and advocate who has trained professionals on forensic interviewing, child sexual abuse dynamics, child homicide investigations, witness preparation, and child safety initiatives. She has also led community-focused efforts aimed at preventing child abuse and reducing infant mortality through public education and prevention programs.
