Danielle Unterschutz represents commercial banks, lenders, and asset owners in syndicated and direct lending financing, and structured finance transactions.

Her experience spans a wide range of sectors, including renewable energy projects and cross-border aircraft leasing and financing transactions, such as operating leases, sale and leasebacks, and secured loan transactions. She also has experience with acquisition finance and real estate finance.

Danielle regularly advises financial institutions on the structuring and execution of complex banking transactions, including the acquisition and divestiture of branch assets. Her work includes managing all aspects of the transaction lifecycle—from drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements to coordinating regulatory filings. She has served as counsel to bank clients in the acquisition of retail branch locations, handling transactions involving the transfer of deposits and loan portfolios and navigating regulatory approvals, including those required by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). Her ability to guide clients through both the transactional and regulatory complexities of such deals reflect her broader focus on delivering strategic legal support to clients operating in highly regulated industries.
