Devin Hayes advises employers on a broad range of workplace issues and represents clients in employment-related litigation.

Devin partners with businesses to navigate complex employment matters, including wage and hour compliance, employee handbook development, and workplace policies. He has experience conducting legal research and providing practical guidance on federal and state labor laws, helping employers mitigate risk and maintain compliant workplace practices.

In addition to his advisory work, Devin represents clients in employment litigation, including claims involving discrimination and other workplace disputes. His litigation experience includes all phases of pretrial practice, such as discovery, drafting dispositive motions, and supporting deposition strategy.

Before joining Thompson Coburn, Devin practiced at a St. Louis-based law firm where he gained experience across multiple practice areas, including commercial litigation, bankruptcy, and construction law.

Devin earned his J.D. from Washington University School of Law, where he served as Treasurer of the Student Bar Association, a peer academic advisor, and an active member of the Black Law Students Association. He received his B.S. in Economics and Finance from Centre College.
