Donald Bell brings a unique perspective to the business litigation practice shaped by nearly 15 years of experience in the criminal justice system.

Before entering the legal field, Donald served as Program Coordinator for Collin County’s first Adult Mental Health Court, an Adult Probation Officer for six years where he helped the District Attorney’s office implement the county’s first opioid diversion program, and a Supervisor at Grayson County Juvenile Services for nearly eight years.

During law school, Donald was actively involved in career development and advocacy competition, including serving as Co-Chair for the annual Thompson Coburn Moot Court Competition. He also clerked for the Fifth District Court of Appeals, mentored fellow students as a Career Peer, and served on the Executive Board of the Board of Advocates. As a Summer Associate at Thompson Coburn, he conducted in-depth research on emerging antitrust issues, further developing his litigation skills.

Outside of work, I enjoy attending live events including any sporting event, concerts, and musicals. I also like watching TV series, following soccer as a fan of FC Barcelona and Chelsea FC, playing golf, and spending time with my wife and our three dogs and three cats.
