Jocelin Tapia helps clients in a broad range of industries manage civil disputes. Her work has included matters of breach of contract, real estate, construction defect, employment, product liability, and other commercial litigation. She performs legal research, drafts and reviews pleadings, assists with client communications, and helps to develop and execute strategy at all stages of litigation.

Jocelin has represented a Fortune 500 power management company and a global supplier of mineral and chemical products in mass tort litigation across the United States, particularly in Illinois. Before joining Thompson Coburn, she worked at a litigation boutique in Dallas specializing in commercial litigation.

While in law school, Jocelin was the Administrative Editor for the Texas Journal on Civil Liberties & Civil Rights. As an undergraduate at the University of Tampa, she and her Moot Court team partner earned a spot in the National Tournament for the American Moot Court Association.
