Joyce Lee focuses her practice on regulatory and litigation matters affecting institutions of higher education.
Joyce advises postsecondary institutions and other stakeholders in the higher education sector on compliance with Title IV of the Higher Education Act, applicable state regulatory requirements, and complex accreditation matters. She also assists with regulatory filings and due diligence in connection with higher education mergers and acquisitions.
In addition, Joyce works with the White Collar Defense and Investigations practice, representing clients in regulatory litigation, government investigations, and administrative appeals.
Joyce earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and her B.A. in English from University of California, Los Angeles. During law school, she was a Notes Editor for the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics and a teaching assistant for the LL.M. legal writing course.
