Kevin Kifer helps clients navigate complex regulatory landscapes, including assisting health care entities with federal and state licensing and certification, Medicare and Medicaid billing and reimbursement, Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, and provider operations.
Kevin also advises clients on a wide range of commercial contracts and transactional matters. He negotiates and drafts complex agreements, including professional services arrangements, vendor and supply agreements, and managed care contracts, and brings a practical, business-oriented approach to structuring deals and managing risk across industries.
Well-versed in compliance issues affecting both large systems and individual providers, Kevin supports clients with government payor compliance, provider contracting, internal policy development, and compliance investigations. He also performs due diligence reviews in connection with mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures, offering strategic counsel throughout the transaction lifecycle to help clients achieve their operational and business objectives.
When I’m outside of STL, I enjoy exploring new cities by foot and kayaking Ozark rivers. When I’m in STL, I like to spend my free time playing guitar and attending as many concerts as I can.
