Mackenzie is a strategic trial attorney who skillfully handles cases at all stages of litigation from pre-suit investigations to post-judgment recovery. With a focus on commercial litigation and dispute resolution, Mackenzie supports clients on matters related to fraud and fraudulent transfer litigation, tort and product liability litigation, and complex commercial litigation. She additionally has experience with matters related to Ponzi schemes and resulting receiverships.

Representing both plaintiffs and defendants, Mackenzie's clients include medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers, chemical and asbestos-containing product manufacturers, and Court-appointed receivers.

Mackenzie received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Wake Forest University School of Law, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif, competed in regional and national moot court competitions, and argued at the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit as a student practitioner. During law school, Mackenzie demonstrated exceptional research, writing, and analysis skills by earning the highest grade in Legal Writing I and II, Gender and the Law, Sexual Identity and the Law, Pre-Trial Practice and Procedure, and Employment Discrimination: Selected Topics. She received her B.A. in Psychology, summa cum laude, from Southern Methodist University.
