As a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment practice group, Marcus Nelson advises employers on a broad spectrum of workplace issues.
His work spans from analyzing the latest developments in employment law to resolving complex employee-related disputes.
Before joining Thompson Coburn, Marcus practiced litigation at an international law firm, where he handled high-stakes matters involving climate change, class actions, mass torts, data privacy, and unfair business practices.
Prior to attending law school Marcus served for over nine years as a multifunctional logistics officer in the United States Army, gaining significant leadership experience as a company commander as well as a logistics planner in support of NATO Operations in Europe. Marcus is a graduate of the United States Military Academy and earned his J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law.
