Matt Bober is known for “bet-the-business” disputes in major agricultural companies, particularly technology licensing, distribution channels, grain channeling, genetic testing, and patent infringement.
Matt gets the call when there are single-party, class-action, and multi-district agricultural conflicts to resolve. He counsels agricultural distribution companies, state check off groups, and global agribusiness leaders as plaintiffs or defendants in litigation across the U.S. and in other countries.
With a personable demeanor that complements his analytical approach to litigation, Matt investigates individual and class claims. He is equally as comfortable working on the ground with the firm’s ag clients to eliminate disputes before litigation is necessary. But should the case go to trial, Matt is a strong advocate who is seen in state and federal courts as well as in arbitrations.
Matt’s litigation experience includes spending several years representing financial sector clients and also handling other businesses litigation.
When not resolving disputes, Matt is found leading proactive in-house trainings for agribusiness professionals. He most often teaches best practices for analyzing and resolving liabilities in the field.
