Mike focuses his legal practice on public finance, corporate law, business transactions, governmental and nonprofit law.
Mike serves as Chair of Thompson Coburn's Public Finance and Public Law Department and served as the long-time Chair of the Firm's Corporate Department. Mike served for many years on the Firm's Executive Committee.
In 2012 Mike was named Best Lawyers® St. Louis Corporate Law Lawyer of the Year and in 2013 and 2019 he was named Best Lawyers® St. Louis Public Finance Law Lawyer of the Year. Mike has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America®, Chambers USA, Who's Who in America, and Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers. He focuses his practice in public finance, corporate, governmental and nonprofit law. He has represented state and local governmental entities, financial institutions and other corporate and business entities.
