Nathan Fonda is an experienced IP litigator, committed to helping his clients protect themselves and their valuable intellectual property assets.
Companies both large and small turn to Nathan to represent them in IP litigation—including patent, copyright, trademark and trade secret cases—before federal courts, arbitration, and administrative bodies. His practice focus spans industries and technologies including telecommunications, biotechnology, consumer electronics, and sporting goods.
Receiving valuable high-stakes litigation training early in his career, Nathan has always carried forward those standards of skill and excellence paired with Midwestern service and value. Years of handling complex and highly technical patent and other matters have so honed Nathan’s skills that he is now regularly pulled into complex non-IP litigation matters, including a antitrust, business dispute, and regulatory matters.
Whatever the underlying technology or industry, Nathan is skilled at quickly assessing and understanding the relevant issues, and then communicating them effectively to both clients and judges. In addition to learning about his clients’ businesses, his command of even the most obscure procedural rules and litigation strategies enables him to skillfully craft the right approach to protect his clients’ interests.
Nathan’s experience and knowledge of IP law enables him to advise clients on a strategic approach to protecting their IP portfolios, collaborating with experienced firm colleagues to proactively develop and implement comprehensive strategies. A strong proponent of a holistic approach, Nathan offers strategies that provide clients with both strong protection and a greater return on their legal spend.
