Sam Rodgers brings more than 20 years of experience as a paralegal supporting complex bankruptcy and commercial litigation matters. He brings deep experience in managing high-volume, high-stakes cases on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants, creditors and debtors, and bankruptcy trustees.
Sam is highly skilled in drafting and preparing a broad range of legal documents, including complaints, bankruptcy petitions, motions, proofs of claim, and settlement agreements. His work spans Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 proceedings as well as commercial litigation, where he collaborates closely with attorneys to ensure efficient case progression and compliance with procedural requirements.
He has extensive experience managing large case portfolios, conducting detailed financial and asset research, and overseeing docketing and calendaring. Sam is also well-versed in navigating the Illinois state and federal court systems, with a particular familiarity with courts and agencies throughout Cook County and surrounding jurisdictions.
In addition to his litigation support capabilities, Sam has handled discovery review, document management, and complex filings, consistently contributing to successful case outcomes. He is also an Illinois Notary Public.
Outside the office, my free time mostly belongs to my three young children. Primary activities include refereeing squabbles, finding misplaced shoes, and coaching little league. When I manage to carve out time, I enjoy cooking, playing basketball, and spending time with family and friends.
