Thompson Coburn associate Christopher Clark has joined the Contractor Fraud Legal Task Force, an initiative led by the Office of Mayor Cara Spencer. The Task Force brings together Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, the Missouri Attorney General’s Office, and a coalition of volunteer attorneys to support St. Louis residents affected by contractor fraud as they recover from the devastating May 16, 2025, tornado.
The Task Force was established in response to growing reports of fraudulent contractor activity following the storm. As a volunteer member of the Task Force, Chris will help provide legal support to impacted residents and assist efforts to hold bad actors accountable, protecting community members during a particularly vulnerable time.
Chris is a member of Thompson Coburn’s Business Litigation group, where he helps clients navigate complex commercial disputes and legal challenges. His experience includes serving as a federal judicial law clerk and as an Assistant Circuit Attorney in the St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office, where he prosecuted major criminal matters. He has also been actively involved in Missouri public policy and government affairs.
