Danielle Unterschutz Selected for U.S. Bank Law Division Spotlight on Talent Program

Associate Danielle Unterschutz has been selected as one of 15 associates to participate in the 2026 U.S. Bank Spotlight on Talent program. This year-long cohort experience focuses on building relationships and the professional development of rising talent at some of the bank’s select law firm partners.

The program will kick off at U.S. Bank headquarters in February with networking, learning opportunities, and goal-setting activities with bank attorneys and other executive leaders.

“As we prepare for the 2026 Spotlight on Talent program, we look forward to working with these 15 impressive associates from our partner firms,” said Jim Chosy, senior executive vice president and general counsel for U.S. Bank. “The time we spend together develops strong relationships and provides cohort members with unique exposure to our company, the Law Division, and the in-house practice. As a result, we are better positioned to navigate complex challenges together.”

Throughout the year, cohort members participate in leadership meetings, practice group roundtables, targeted workshops, and networking events. A highlight each year is the opportunity to work with a mentor and make an educational presentation to the U.S. Bank Law Division. Spotlight participants strengthen their knowledge of the financial services industry and U.S. Bank’s business while developing lasting relationships with Law Division professionals and their cohort peers.

“I’m honored to be selected for U.S. Bank’s 2026 Spotlight on Talent program,” said Danielle. “This is an exciting opportunity to deepen my understanding of the financial services industry and collaborate with U.S. Bank’s Law Division and other talented peers. I look forward to building relationships and gaining insights that will strengthen the support I provide to clients in complex financing transactions.”

Danielle represents commercial banks, lenders, and asset owners in syndicated and direct lending financing, and structured finance transactions. Her experience spans a wide range of sectors, including renewable energy projects and cross-border aircraft leasing and financing transactions, such as operating leases, sale and leasebacks, and secured loan transactions. She also has experience with acquisition finance and real estate finance.

Cohort participants have three to six years of experience and practice areas relevant to the legal needs of U.S. Bank.

The Spotlight on Talent program will conclude in Fall 2026.
