Scott Goldschmidt Explores the Road Ahead for Higher Education

Thompson Coburn partner Scott Goldschmidt will be a featured speaker at the Annual Summit for Women in eLearning, hosted by WCET + ASWE Rise 2025. The event convenes thought leaders and practitioners from across higher education to explore the future of digital learning, policy, and innovation.

This session will explore recent judicial rulings that are drawing significant attention across the higher education landscape. These decisions have the potential to influence institutional policies, priorities, and student enrollment trends. Attendees will gain a clear and accessible overview of key legal developments from the past year, including those impacting the U.S. Department of Education, student aid, and federal regulations. The presenters will also discuss the implications of these rulings for colleges and universities today—and how they may shape strategic planning in the future.

WCET 2025 fosters intimate, high-impact dialogue among 500 select attendees, creating space for meaningful conversations and actionable ideas. The audience includes leaders and experts in digital learning who bring diverse perspectives and deep experience.
