The Value of Cyber and Privacy Diligence

Webinar

In any merger or acquisition, a company can take on unwelcome liability. Lately, the potential costs of cybersecurity or privacy shortcomings of an acquired company have increased substantially. In this panel, Thompson Coburn attorneys will discuss the importance and value in solid diligence on cybersecurity and privacy issues. We will examine new legal and regulatory requirements, and how active attorneys general, enforcement regulators and private litigants can create privacy and cyber liability, with particular attention to issues in higher education and technology. Also, we will consider what cyber and privacy may, or may not, be covered by rep and warranty insurance.
