This presentation will provide an update on pertinent OSHA topics and issues. The presenters will discuss state and federal plans, including differences and similarities between the two, tips on how to handle a citation, and the new penalty regime; compliance with state heat standards and considerations for the ever-elusive federal heat standard; special considerations for compliance with training and record keeping requirements for forklifts; legal considerations for the treatment of temporary employees; and a legal update on what to expect from OSHA this year.
