Thompson Coburn has released the Firm’s 2023 Diversity & Inclusion Report, which details all of our diversity, equity and inclusion efforts throughout the previous year. The 43-page document covers our outreach to law students, updates from our affinity groups, information about our firmwide mental health and well-being resources, and much more.
In 2023, the Firm continued its commitment to cultivate our D&I efforts and recognition through a number of new and ongoing initiatives, including:
- We kicked off the 5th co-hort of the Firm’s Women’s Leadership Academy (WLA).
- We achieved Mansfield Rule 6.0 “Certification Plus” status and signed on to participate in the 2024 Mansfield 7.0 Certification process to expand diversity and equity in Big Law.
- We received high-level Firm recognition from HRC Corporate Equality Index Best Places to Work, Law360, and Bloomberg Law’s Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) Framework.
- We added an OnRamp Fellow to the Firm’s Los Angeles office as part of Diversity Lab’s initiative to introduce women lawyers back into the legal profession.
- We awarded Thomas F. Eagleton Scholarships to two stellar law students.
- We continued to hold firmwide DEI and mental health/ well-being educational programs for all new attorneys, paralegals, and staff in our offices across the United States.
