Executive technology leader brings extensive law firm CIO and innovation experience to support the firm’s continued growth and technology strategy
Thompson Coburn LLP is pleased to announce that Amol V. Bargaje has joined the firm as Chief Information Officer.
Bargaje brings more than 15 years of CIO and executive-level leadership experience across leading global Am Law firms, with expertise spanning enterprise IT operations, cybersecurity, infrastructure, data strategy, and legal technology. He will oversee information technology services for all attorneys and business professionals across the firm’s offices nationwide and will be based in Chicago.
Most recently, Bargaje served in a senior innovation leadership role at Mayer Brown LLP, where he helped shape enterprise technology strategy and led significant digital transformation initiatives. Throughout his career, he has successfully directed large-scale infrastructure modernization efforts, data platform transformations, and AI-enabled workflow improvements designed to enhance productivity, collaboration, and client service.
As CIO, Bargaje will work closely with firm management, practice group leaders, and business professionals to advance technology strategy, security, and operations.

Prior to his role at Mayer Brown, Bargaje served in chief IT and innovation roles at Sullivan & Cromwell and Jenner & Block. He earned his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management and a bachelor of engineering degree from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology.
