The Chicago Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights recognized Thompson Coburn at its 2024 Power of Connection event, presenting the firm with its Outstanding Firm Partner Award.
Michael Parks and Kayla Siam accepted the award on the firm’s behalf in their role as active members of CLC. Michael serves as a board member for the organization, and Kayla is a member of its NextGen Leadership Council.
The firm was a sponsor of the annual event, which celebrates community leaders, entrepreneurs, and pro bono attorneys who help boost economic opportunities for communities of color in Chicago. The organization’s Economic Justice Program facilitates transactional legal assistance for nonprofits and small businesses, working to help them find success and close the racial wealth gap.
