Alex Rahn focuses her practice on complex Chapter 11 and Subchapter V cases, adversary proceedings, commercial litigation, fraudulent transfer and preference actions, and workouts across the United States.
She has represented debtors, official committees of creditors, individual creditors, secured lenders, and landlords in Chapter 11 matters and out‑of‑court restructurings, and has also represented a federal court‑appointed receiver.
Alex has significant experience advising lenders in the workout, bankruptcy, and foreclosure of more than $50 million in secured commercial real estate loans across multiple jurisdictions.
Before entering private practice, Alex served as a law clerk to Chief Bankruptcy Judge Elizabeth Magner of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. During law school, she also externed with Chief Bankruptcy Judge Stacey G.C. Jernigan of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.
