Business Litigation Associate – Chicago

Thompson Coburn is seeking a Business Litigation Associate with 2-3 years of litigation experience. Ideal candidates will have substantial experience working independently with written discovery and associated motion practice, in state and federal court, as well as some experience in first-chairing depositions. 

Candidates must have exceptional academic achievement, excellent analytical and writing skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to function independently and within a team.

Litigation Attorney – Chicago

Thompson Coburn is seeking a litigation attorney with 2-5 years of litigation experience. Candidates must have experience representing banks in litigation, including post-judgment enforcement-related litigation.

Candidates must have strong academic achievement, and have demonstrated excellent analytical and writing skills. The ability to function both independently and within a team is essential.

Labor & Employment Associate – Los Angeles

Thompson Coburn is seeking an associate with 1-4 years of experience in employment law. The ideal candidate will have federal and state court experience in class/collective wage litigation, discrimination, wrongful discharge, and wage and hour matters, as well as EEOC and FEHA experience. Traditional labor expertise is a plus. Additionally, we prefer candidates with counseling experience, including drafting policies, agreements, and handbooks. The successful candidate will possess strong research and writing skills, be comfortable with client interaction, and be a self-starter. An active California law license is required.

Estate Planning Attorney – St. Louis

Thompson Coburn is seeking an associate attorney with 4-6 years of estate planning experience to join its Private Client practice group. Ideal candidates will have experience with sophisticated estate planning matters including gift, estate, and related income tax planning, estate and trust administration, charitable planning and family business succession planning.

Candidates must have strong academic achievement, and have demonstrated excellent analytical and writing skills. In addition, candidates must have strong interpersonal skills enabling client development and networking. The ability to function both independently and within a team, internally and externally, is essential.

Finance Attorney – St. Louis

Thompson Coburn is seeking an experienced finance attorney to work at a client location. This position can be full or part time. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial and real estate finance (including familiarity with Article 9 of the UCC), entity governance, title insurance issues, and legal opinions. Candidates with agricultural lending experience will receive stronger consideration.

The position is for a project intended to be for twelve months or more,  with the possibility of renewing year to year.
