Litigation Associate – Los Angeles
Thompson Coburn is seeking an associate with 4-6 years of experience to join its business litigation section in the Los Angeles office. We are seeking candidates with exceptional research, analytical, and writing skills in addition to a detail-oriented mindset. Candidates must have strong academic achievement and the ability to function both independently and within a team environment. Prior litigation experience in state and/or federal court in California is a requirement. Candidates must be licensed to practice in California. This position is open to recruiters.
The salary range for this position in our Los Angeles office is $200,000-$240,000. Actual salary will vary and may be above or below the range based on relevant skills, training and other job-related factors. The range listed is just one of Thompson Coburn’s total compensation and benefits package for associates, which includes productivity and discretionary bonuses; life, health, accident and disability insurance; and a 401(k) plan.

Prior commercial litigation experience in both state and federal court in New York is required.
The salary range for this position in our New York office is $195,000-$230,000. Labor and Employment Attorney – Dallas or New York
Thompson Coburn is seeking an attorney with 4-6 years of employment litigation experience to join the Firm. The ideal candidate will have significant employment litigation and counseling experience, strong analytical and writing skills, and the ability to function both independently and within a team environment. Traditional labor expertise is preferred but not required. Private Client Associate - Chicago
Thompson Coburn LLP is seeking an associate attorney with 3-6 years of estate planning experience to join its Private Client practice group in the Chicago office. Ideal candidates will have experience with sophisticated estate planning matters including gift, estate, and related income tax planning, estate and trust administration, charitable planning and family business succession planning. Experience preparing gift, estate and/or fiduciary income tax returns is a plus.
The position requires strong academic credentials and excellent analytical and writing skills. In addition, candidates must have the ability to function both independently and within a team. The ability to establish, develop and maintain long-term relationships enabling client development and networking is essential.
