At Thompson Coburn our supplier diversity efforts seek to create sustainable economic development in the communities in which we live and serve. We encourage the use of suppliers that are minority owned, women owned, veteran owned, LGBT owned, service disabled veteran owned, and other historically underutilized businesses.
We aim to have a supplier diversity program that expands the breadth and magnitude of our investment in diverse suppliers each year.
Diverse Supplier - A business certified by a public third party entity as a Minority, Woman, Disadvantaged and/or Veteran business enterprise as those terms are defined in applicable State or Federal programs. For example, a business that is a small business that is at least 51 owned by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals and controlled by such individuals may be eligible for certification for Federal purposes as a disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE).
Prime Supplier - Business who provides services directly to the client company and are required to report expenditures with diverse suppliers.
Company Representative - As an employee of your company, you are aware that our company is committed to ensuring the broadest inclusion of minority, women and LGBT business enterprises (M/WBEs, LGBTBE) throughout our sourcing process. We encourage you to utilize this system to identify highly qualified diverse suppliers to compete for business opportunities with our organization.
