Thompson Coburn wins Green Business Challenge award

The St. Louis Regional Chamber honored Thompson Coburn in mid-December for its eco-friendly business efforts in 2012.
The firm received an Award of Achievement for successfully completing the Chamber’s yearlong Green Business Challenge. It was one of only three law firms in St. Louis to receive the honor.
Among other environmental efforts, Thompson Coburn:
- Created, implemented, and trained the office in a fully integrated system for electronic records
- Established an extensive recycling program
- Installed lighting-management sensors
- Switched from paper to electronic holiday cards
- Donated used furniture to nonprofit organizations
- Implemented several software programs that shift most faxes, court filings and PDF conversions online so printing isn’t necessary
- Used paper and stationary with 30 percent post-consumer recycled material
